Mitchell performs structural steel installation from simple handrails and platforms to more complex towers, cranes and large structures. We employ a long-term team of ironworkers with a broad wealth of experience that can install any type of steel required for industrial projects.

Pipe Fabrication
Our facilities are equipped with he latest MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding equipment. The welding shop includes: overhead cranes, positioners, and power rollers to support large and small sized projects. Our fabrication bays are segregated for carbon and stainless welding to limit contamination. Mitchell's fabrication shop is located in Burnaby, making it a central location for lower mainland projects.
We welcome the opportunity to quote your fabrication requirements. Our services include: pressure pipe spool fabrication in carbon steel, austenitic and ferric stainless steels, copper, nickel, chrome-moly, and titanium. We also provide the following services: spool drawings, pipe support fabrication, roll and cut grooving, and threading.
Mitchell's is a registered class "A" boiler and pressure vessel contractor with the BC Safety Authority. The majority of our process and power piping projects rely on our management services for the entire mechanical scope of work. Our expertise in planning, estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews, and project management will ensure your projects exceed all expectations from start to finish.

Mitchell specializes in capital and maintenance project piping installations. Our team expertise in pipe installation separates us from our competitors. Our supervision team is based around experienced piping installers who can navigate through complex industrial piping installations by relying on their past experience in the industry. Our focus is on process and power piping installations in both greenfield and brownfield projects. We are efficient and cost effective due to our years of experience in process and power piping installations.
Special projects include the fabrication and installation of process skids build to client specifications. We deliver turn key systems that are easy to transport, quick to install and provide a compact solution with costs savings. Our skid fabrication capabilities include process skids, cooling skids, filtration skids, pump skids, treatment skids, chemical skids and modular pipe skids.

Mitchell’s services include the installation of simple or complex equipment including pumps, turbines, generators, reactors, heat exchanges, module skids, conveyors, fans, air conditioning units, flares, scrubbers, clarifiers and pressure vessels to name a few.
